I love to travel and draw inspiration from the nature of the countries I have been lucky to visit and from my home in West Sussex where I grew up.

After studying in Performance Design at the Arts University Bournemouth, I began drawing animals that I saw locally and those I’d seen when travelling and combining them with bright, strong colours. I wanted to create visual inspiration for the feeling of wanderlust and bring it into a home so as not to forget a special trip away or to simply brighten up a grey day.

Ellie Mason Designs began in 2016 when I went to Fiji to visit family and started working as a designer for my aunt’s glass design business. After gathering inspiration from the beauty of the island, Hot Glass Fiji and I began to produce cushions with my illustrations on them. Ellie Mason Designs Fiji is still on going and made so special by the fact that all the products sold in Fiji are Fijian made.

Now back in the UK I am working towards producing pieces for sale here via my shop on Etsy.
